Whitecliff Off Road Centre which is in the Forest Of Dean, Gloucestershire is run by qualified, LANTRA & BORDA instructors who are experienced in competitions such as Hill Rallies, British Safari Championships and 4x4 Off-road club trial challenges throughout the UK. We cater for beginners to advanced levels, extreme conditions to winching & recovery courses. Our variety of Land Rovers and Range Rovers are carefully maintained, ensuring an excellent safety record. Our 4x4 driving site, with its variety of surfaces is one of the best in the UK and offers a range of difficulty, obstacles and terrain.

We specialise in off road driver training and 4x4 courses for individuals and groups who are looking for tuition or a professionally recognised certificate, which complies with workplace health & safety regulations. For those looking for gift experience days, we offer gift vouchers valid for 12 months. We are open all year and run courses weekdays and weekends. All courses must be pre-booked and pre-paid.

Our qualified instructors will show you how to read the ground, prior to driving, enabling you to negotiate obstacles safely, before progressing to the more difficult circuits. By the end of a day learning how to drive off road, most of our clients are happily driving over terrain that they never thought possible in standard 4x4 vehicles. Our modified 'off roaders' are also used during the day, so you will be given the opportunity to compare the differences.

The owner driver courses are specifically for those who want to practice in their own 4x4's and familiarise themselves with the 4wd system in their particular vehicle. Realising your vehicle limitations is crucial when driving off road which is especially important when considering your off road driving techniques.

We are a popular venue for corporate entertainment, team building events, stag weekends or the alternative hen party. Your stag do or corporate event could be a full or half-day off roading, either on the weekend or during the week. We offer discounts for group bookings and run special offers & deals throughout the year.

If you wanted to spend a half day with us followed by either clay shooting or paintball, we can arrange that for you with a different provider on thier site not far from our venue.  Please feel free to call to discuss your individual requirements.
